1. Preamble

Dils is the trading name of Dils France, a société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 994 340 297. In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (“GDPR”), this Privacy Policy explains how Dils France protects the privacy of visitors to the website www.dils.fr (the “Website”), how personal data is collected, processed and protected, what rights are guaranteed to data subjects, and how to contact us.

EOL S.A.S. is a Dils Group company operating in France. Personal data submitted through the Website may be accessed and processed by EOL S.A.S. where necessary to manage and respond to requests relating to real estate advisory, brokerage, commercial services or recruitment in France.

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, defined as a “data subject” and hereinafter also referred to as a “User”, such as identification data, contact details, information submitted through forms and browsing data.

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect regulatory, legal, operational or technical developments. Users are encouraged to consult it regularly.

3. Data Collected, Purposes and Legal Bases

3.1 Contact form – real estate advisory and brokerage services

When Users use the Website, Dils France collects the personal data voluntarily provided through the contact form in connection with commercial real estate advisory, brokerage and related services.

The data collected may include:

first and last name;
email address and telephone number;
company, role or professional details, where provided;
free-text fields describing the request;
any other information voluntarily submitted by the User.

Providing this information is optional. However, if the User does not provide the information required to process the request, Dils France and/or EOL S.A.S. may be unable to respond or take the request forward.

Purposes and legal bases:

responding to contact requests and taking pre-contractual steps at the User’s request: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
managing commercial real estate advisory, brokerage and related requests in France, including through EOL S.A.S. where operationally necessary: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and/or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the nature of the request;
complying with legal obligations applicable to Dils France: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
sending newsletters, commercial communications and real estate market updates where the User has given consent: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

Retention periods:

for contact requests and related follow-up: up to 12 months following the latest interaction, unless a longer period is required in connection with a contractual relationship, legal obligation or legal claim;
for marketing communications based on consent: until consent is withdrawn or the User objects to receiving such communications.

3.2 Careers form

Dils France collects, through the careers or “Work With Us” section of the Website, the personal data voluntarily provided by Users when submitting an application.

The data collected may include:

first name and last name;
date of birth, where requested;
preferred work location;
email address and telephone number;
curriculum vitae, cover letter, portfolio or other application materials;
information contained in free-text fields or voluntarily submitted as part of the application.

Users are requested not to include special categories of personal data in their application materials unless strictly necessary for the recruitment process. If such data is provided, it will be processed only where permitted under the GDPR or deleted where it is not necessary for the recruitment process.

Purpose and legal basis: managing incoming applications and recruitment processes, including through authorised personnel of EOL S.A.S. where necessary for recruitment activities in France: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Retention period: data relating to unsuccessful candidates will be deleted within 12 months after completion of the recruitment process, unless the candidate consents to a longer retention period or a longer period is required for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. In the event of a positive outcome, data will be retained in accordance with the applicable employee privacy information and retention rules.

3.3 Browsing data

The IT systems used to operate the Website automatically collect, during normal use, certain technical data transmitted through internet communication protocols. This may include IP addresses, URI addresses of requested resources, timestamps of requests, browser type, operating system and other technical parameters relating to the User’s device and IT environment.

This data is not collected to identify Users directly, but could potentially allow Users to be identified through processing and cross-referencing with third-party data. It is used to ensure the proper functioning and security of the Website, to obtain anonymous statistical information on use of the Website and to prevent fraudulent or unlawful use.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the legitimate interest of Dils France in maintaining the security, integrity and proper functioning of the Website.

4. Recipients of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed to the following recipients, strictly within the limits of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

authorised personnel of Dils France;
authorised personnel of EOL S.A.S., a Dils Group company operating in France, where necessary to manage commercial, real estate advisory, brokerage or recruitment requests submitted through the Website;
other companies within the Dils Group, where necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;
service providers and processors acting on behalf of Dils France, including providers of hosting, IT systems, databases, electronic communications, technical support, maintenance and website management, appointed as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR;
judicial, administrative or law enforcement authorities, upon lawful request, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Dils France does not sell personal data to advertisers or third parties.

Where personal data is managed through Dils France’s proprietary CRM or other internal systems, access is restricted to authorised users according to role and operational need.

5. Transfers Outside the European Economic Area

Where personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area that are not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, Dils France will ensure that such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards under the GDPR, including, where applicable, the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

6. Security and Confidentiality

Dils France implements appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data, and in particular to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, destruction or misuse.

Access to personal data is limited to authorised personnel of Dils France, EOL S.A.S. and, where applicable, other Dils Group companies or service providers, strictly within the scope of their duties and the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal data may be processed electronically or in paper form, with appropriate security measures applied in both cases.

7. Users’ Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, Users may exercise the following rights with respect to their personal data:
